Signature Custom Homes (SCH) is a second generation family-owned business that designs and builds custom homes in the PNW.
SCH has the need to update the customer experience instilled with the same founding values with a contemporary update. The visual cue continues with the inspired double-illusion of a window pane.
Art Directing the Contemporary Brand
SCH focuses on providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after the home is built. Updating the identity captures the contemporary feel of the window pane and the PNW varied geology. The modern design and messaging cast a unique position in the crowded marketplace. They can now speak confidently about their fresh approach to craftsmanship.
Concepting Charm
Capturing the blueprint aesthetic of the window pane, the logo conveys mnemonic layering. Highlighting the simple elegance of the line drawn window pane, thick corners positioned on the opposite sites give weight to the frame. Secondly, from a bird's eye perspective, one can see the blueprint drawing in the positive area with door openings on each side as to welcome the light of the morning sun.
